SpiceStrong is a high-protein recipe discovery app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

Data Collection

SpiceStrong does not require account creation or login. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.

AI Recipe Generation

When you use the AI Recipe Builder feature, your selected preferences (protein type, dietary options, and cuisine choice) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate recipes. No personal data is included in these requests. The data sent consists only of:

• Selected protein type (e.g., chicken, tofu)
• Dietary preferences (e.g., low carb, gluten free)
• Cuisine style (e.g., Indian, Mediterranean)

Local Storage

Your saved recipes, preferences, and app settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not transmitted to any server and remains entirely under your control.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

• Anthropic Claude API - Used solely for AI recipe generation. No personal data is shared. Only recipe preferences are transmitted to generate custom recipes.

Analytics and Tracking

SpiceStrong does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not track your usage patterns, browsing behavior, or any other activity within the app.

Children's Privacy

SpiceStrong is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Data Security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is minimal risk of data breach. All user data remains on your device.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our systems. You can clear all locally stored data by uninstalling the app.
